Inspired by a mid-spring visit to Edgewater Park, our new scent, Lakeshore Drive is what we like to call a Great Lakes Aquatic. Ozonic notes meet bergamot, orange, and neroli, and are rounded out with notes of labdanum, bay, and coumarin. It's fresh and dirty all at once - a blend that all but guarantees a pleasant shaving experience.

THE LAKESHORE DRIVE STORY - As the Euclid Beach Band once sang, "There's No Surf in Cleveland." We may not have an ocean for surfing, but we do have access to one of the treasures of the Midwest - the Great Lakes.

Part of our Rust Belt Reserve premium shaving line. Rust Belt Reserve products feature luxurious ingredients blended with complex, expertly crafted, premium fragrances.

Ingredients: Tallow, kokum butter, avocado oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, stearic acid, coconut, glycerin, lanolin, coconut oil, goat milk, mallow extract, buckthorn extract, meadowfoam seed oil, Vitamin E, essential oils, fragrance oils, potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide (made by hot process)

Shannon's soaps are hugely underrated in the wetshaving world. This is a very pleasant lightly scented aquatic and the performance is excellent.

I don't know what they put in the water in Cleveland, but from The James Gang to Rocket From the Tombs and Pere Ubu, the city breeds artists who seem to be working within a tradition while simultaneously exploding it from within. And now we can add Shannon's Lakeshore Drive to the list. This is a familiar-at-first-sniff salty ozonic that opens and opens and opens with notes of honey, slate, and citrus -- a deft. immensely complex scent and one of my favourite in all of wetshaving. Performance of this soap in every measure is perfect -- literally perfect. If you're a fan of scents like Aventus (#therichmansAxe) this may prove too subtle for you, but if you're a genuine frag-head, or if you, like, shave and stuff, you NEED this soap in your den
