Soap Commander Respect Artisan Shaving Soap, 6oz

I ordered two Soap Commander soaps based on all the support it gets on Badger and Blade. I own Passion and Respect. While Passion is a great Winter/Christmas scent, Respect is great year round and especially in the summer. The crisp patchouli scent reminds me of skateboarding in the 90s! Hemp necklaces and girls with pretty, long hair :) I LOVE this scent. The lime is subtle and dry and balances perfectly with the patchouli. I assume all the Soap Commander soaps perform the same. The lather explodes and it has superb slickness. This has also gotta be the best value in shave soap. HUGE tub of soap and it doesn't take much at all to get your brush loaded with four passes worth! The tub itself is also fantastic. I intend to own all of them and I highly recommend you try at least one. If you remember the 90s, Respect is the scent to try first!

I read tons of good things before buying thinking there has to be a little hype to it. I was completely wrong. The hype is real and this stuff rocks! When i first got it the peppery patchouli was very prominent. After a couple of uses the patchouli settles down the lime comes out and it is awesome. Not an overly sweet citrus but clean dry lime citrus. The performance is killer. Loads quickly and easily even if you don't bloom the soap before hand. Lather is smooth and thick. Can't go wrong with this stuff and the amount given in the container is huge. Will last a long time. Can't wait to try another from Soap Commander.

Great lather for a comfortable shave. Soap Commander produces a great product, and I would not have any reservations recommending it. Unfortunately, my wife is allergic to the Patchouli so I can't use it.

I have several shaving soaps/creams from industry leaders, and Soap Commander's Respect is my daily go to shaving soap. I rotate through 20 different shaving soaps/creams, and I end up using Respect for at least 1/4 of my shaves. It loads quickly, lathers up easily (even in the fairly hard water where I live), and is very slick. I would have no problem recommending this soap to anybody.

This soap is great. I love the fresh, dry lime aroma coupled with the hint of patchouli that comes out when lathering. This soap also has the magic combination of cushion and slip that I've been looking for. It has rocketed to the top of my favorites list in record time. You cannot go wrong with this soap.
