So... One month ago I wrote a pretty damning review of this aftershave, but after leaving it aside for a while, I went back to it and... now I'm seriously addicted. I guess this aftershave isn't for everyone and it's a love-it-or-hate it proposition, but now I can't get enough of its smoky, manly fragrance. If the idea of an aftershave with an earthy, smoky fragrance appeals to you, I suggest trying it out!

This one's a miss for me. It's possible the Texas Fire shaving soap is pretty awesome, but as an aftershave it's just overpowering. Way too much smokiness, no leather or cedar to it. Doesn't feel refreshing at all on your face. It makes you smell like you stood in campfire smoke all morning, though, so if that's your thing, enjoy! Not a diss on Stirling at all. The rest of their products are excellent!
