Best Shavette Yet

I’ve tried many shavettes that use a DE blade and have found them all very unforgiving and too aggressive. The Vanta has just enough edge exposure and blade support to perform almost as well as my regular DE razors. The slide on clip holds the blade very firmly and evenly. It can and will bite you but performs great with a gentle hand.

Excellent...for what it is

I had Parker shavettes forever and got tired of them breaking or just falling apart. I was big on the shavette journey and also used my Dovo enough for it to finally loosen at the hinge. Kinda recently, I realized I missed shavettes but wanted a quality one- bought the Muhle Enthusiast which is incredible for me (see my review). But I decided I want a cheap one for travel and/or shaving back of neck after I cut my hair. Enter Vanta. Takes half or full DE blade, with closure coming as a slide cover. Very small exposure of the edge. Thin but sturdy. It doesn't win any beauty contest, but dang is it easy and safe to use (for a shavette). Head shape is different because it can hold a full blade within, but I did not find it clunky or unable to get under nose. First shave with it was just great and did not feel like I had to concentrate too much. I think, I really think, that my shavette collection is complete alongside my Muhle...this one is coming with me when I travel, for sure!

The Best, got one from a vender in Italy and the tax and shipping was almost as much as the shavette What makes this one so good the ends of the blade are protected so no protruding blade ends and this model will take a half DE blade or a full DE blade Have other more expensive shavettes but this is my #1 (: Good price here made this a no brainier.
