The formula of Glyce Lima (lime) glycerin soap includes coconut oil, which hydrates the skin and helps in the penetration of cleaning agents, while ensuring a gentle, efficient cleaning.

Excellent product + superb service

Very impressed with this pre shave soap from Ach Brito, my first order with Maggard. It is an excellent preparation for a first class wet shave experience, particularly when used in combination with the Musgo Real pre-shave oil which is also manufactured by Ach Brito. The "Lima" version of the soap is an interesting alternative to the "Classic" version. I was very impressed with the service from Maggard Razors - special thanks to Jerick Timm, e commerce manager, for his advice on whether the product could be shipped to the UK, and also my thanks to the rest of the team for ensuring a hassle free transaction and very speedy, well packaged delivery to Liverpool .

For me this is an excellent pre-shave that I have used for a couple of years now. A must have product as it sets up the beard very well for the shaving soap.

This was not for me at all. I guess it's an ok facial soap, but make sure to wash it off well before you apply shaving cream or soap. This will totally destroy your lather if too much of it is left on the face. I did not notice any benefit to my shaves whatsoever. The scent is "meh" at best. Smells to me like something used to clean public toilets. Clean, I guess, but not pleasant. I much prefer the Edwin Jagger pre shave lotion. It softens up the stubble and thus makes the shave much smoother. It is most valuable to me when I don't have time to shower before shaving. I haven't tried the Proraso pre shave cream yet.

Used it for the first time today. First i clean my face with face wash then applied this. It`s foaming a lot and i did let it sit on my face and then applied shaving cream. It can be a bit drying but i do use badger hair brush which brings a lot of moisture to the face. Summa summarum- great product and dead cheap!

I spent (wasted) a bunch of money on pre-shave oils and treatments. All those early purchases went into the trash. Michael Hamm spoke of this in his wonderful book . "Leisureguy's Guide to Gourmet Shaving the Double-Edge Way" A simple face wash leaving the lather on your face is a magnificent pre-shave. The only other thing that comes close (80% is Proraso's 3 flavors of pre/post shave cream. I dilute the Proraso products with a bit of hot water before using them on my face. Still this inexpensive and "long-lasting" glycerine soap is the best. PLEASE NOTE that this soap is labled 50% of the time as MUSGO REAL. It's the exact same soap. Buy whatever is cheaper confidant that you are getting the correct product. I've purchased MUSGO wrapped at times and had Ach Brito imprinted cakes inside. Just don't store it in the shower as it will dissolve in the high humidity and don't expect to use it as a regular hand of face soap. It really is good only as a pre-shave soap.
