Le Piment de la Vie: or "The Spice of Life" is a very complex fragrance shaving soap. It is sweet and spicy and earthy and just all around amazing. 

Our primary line of shaving soaps. A firmer soap built to provide the best shaving experience possible, and all without the use of any animal fats or byproducts. 

This is a 4oz pour in a 8oz jar so you will see that the jar is approximately half full. This is done intentionally to give room for the brush to load directly in the tub. 

Ingredients: Stearic acid, water, coconut oil, potassium hydroxide, shea butter, fragrance, sodium hydroxide, jojoba oil, sodium lactate, and glycerin.

This is the best soap I have ever used and quickly became what I reach for when I need a quick shave with a consistent product that just works. I have found it very easy to lather as this soap is extremely water tolerant to the point that i dropped the brush in the sink once and the lather was unaffected. The post shave is amazing and I often do not use aftershave when shaving at night as I do not feel the need. Finally I highly recommend this product for someone moving to a more aggressive razor or blade as the protection is amazing and it is difficult to get the lather wrong. So if you are looking for a soap with an amazing base and a great range of scents Catie's Bubbles is the perfect soap for the every day shave.

My first Catie's Bubbles purchase. Initially, this scent did not appeal to me but something about it continued to bring my nose to the jar. Now I probably can not live without it. Overtime LPV grew on me to the point where I had to purchase a second jar and the spray. Give it a shot.

I don't know how to nail down the description of the scent but there isn't another soap I know of that smells like it. It's very complex, spicy, fragrant, sweet, I find it as homely as bacon, coffee and fresh bread. The performance of this soap is excellent and lives up to the hype, this is exactly how a shaving soap should perform.
