Better then derby, they cut facial hair and not as much skin. However, I can get at best 2 shaves from them, they are very irritating blades, and actually REQUIRE 3 passes to do the same amount of work as a single pass with say a dorco or a Treet classic can do.

I have tried a few more expensive brands (Feather, Derby, some German blades) but I only use Shark now (and the cheaper one at that). I have a light beard and only get two shaves per edge but that is ok with me for the price.

Good blade overall. Was going to give a "4," as there are certainly some blades out there that offer a smoother shave and last for more shaves. However, it's hard to beat the price-to-value ratio with these ones. It was my first blade I ever used. Not my absolute favorite blade, but, in any case, always good to have a few Sharks handy.

Very similar to Derby. Slightly sharper, just as smooth, and similar performance. I could only get two shaves out of Shark, but YMMV. I used these in the MR6 with the V3A head. No nicks or razor burn. I only gave four stars because (1) only two shaves per blade and (2) still requires three passes for a smooth shave. Very good for the price though.
