A great value

Surprisingly they do hold an edge. Other blades that are much sharper a dull out alot quicker. I only use them one or two shaves and not with a slant razor. Open comb and safety bar razors work fine. They're inexpensive enough to where you can have new steel on your face with every shave.

Decent but not first-string blade

Good blade. Even flipping after each shave only gets me 4 or 5 shaves. I suppose on a cost-per-shave basis, not bad....but you must go elsewhere for the 'ultimate' blade.....which is more costly.

These blades work for me. I wouldn't push them past 3 shaves, but I won't go past 4 shaves for any blade. These are good for the price.

My experience with Shark Super Chrome is that simply put, they are my favorite, they are very smooth and do not irritate my face. As a veteran wet-shaver, I recommend buying a bulk blade pack and finding which blade works for you, as what blade I find very smooth and sharp will be someone else's dull and burred blade. As the saying goes, "your mileage may vary ;)".

Rating blades is pointless, honestly; there are far too many variables in play, and what works well for one face does poorly on another. I’m giving these 5 stars because after trying half dozen or so brands of blades, these work best for me. That is all.
